With the win, Randolph (5-0) matches its best start in program history, matching the early season run in 1996-97. Those two starts are the only five-game winning streaks in program history.
With the win, Randolph snapped a six game losing streak to Hollins (2-3), giving the WildCats their 29th all-time win against Hollins, its most against any program.
The team's 90 points matches this year's opener for second most points the team has ever scored in a regulation game, one shy of that record.
Jensen Hoover (Woodstock, Va./Central) converted on all eight of her field goal attempts, becoming the first player in Randolph history to shoot 100% from the floor on eight or more attempts.
Hoover, a junior, came into the game third in the nation in field goal percentage among players with at least 30 attempts, 73.5%.
As a team, Randolph shot at a 49.2% clip, its highest since Feb. 6, 2009.
Hoover finished with game highs in points and rebounds, with 20 and 13 respectively, giving the forward her third career double-double and matching her career best in rebounds. It is her third 20-point game this year.
Sophomore Abigail Bullins (Asheboro, N.C./Asheboro) hit on four of her six threes to add 18 for the WildCats.
Randolph trailed as late as 15-14, before a 19-7 run put the team up for good.
