Box Score ASHLAND, Va. -- Randolph looks to bounce back from a loss with a
match at Randolph-Macon at 7:00 p.m.
About at the WildCats:
Randolph had won three out of four before a heartbreaking 21-25,
22-25, 25-20, 23-25 defeat against Virginia Wesleyan a week ago
today.
The team has been off since then and sits at 8-6, but 1-5 in the
ODAC.
With five ODAC matches left, the team still is in contention, as
the eighth seed in the ODAC tournament has finished with an average
of 3.5 wins over the last four seasons.
Randolph still must face the current No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3
seeds in the conference, however.
Junior Jordan
Templin (Ferrum, Va./Franklin Co.) is the only player
in the conference in the top five in both hitting percentage and
kills per set.
About the Yellow Jackets:
Randolph-Macon is third in the conference currently, sporting a
4-1 record.
Winners of their last three, the Yellow Jackets are now 13-6
overall and an impressive 7-3 at home.
Marli Dabareiner is second in the league in digs per set with
5.00. Tori Puryear blocks over one attack per set, tops in the
ODAC.
About the matchup:
Both teams defeated Mary Washington and Bridgewater already this
year.
Randolph-Macon beat Virginia Wesleyan once and Lynchburg twice.
Both of those schools defeated Randolph.
Randolph last defeated the Yellow Jackets in 1995.

First-year Noelle
Wojciechowski (Greensboro, N.C./Page) has stepped her
game up in ODAC play so far this year.
She has better statistics against league opponents in numerous
categories, including kills per set and assists per set. Her
hitting percentage has jumped up .369 in conference games.
