Randolph (3-19/0-17 ODAC) led 2-0 but couldn't seem to find the bucket all night, as Roanoke led by 14 at the half. The hosting Maroons (6-14/6-10 ODAC) would not look back either, outscoring Randolph by 12 in the second half to cruise to the win.
First-year Bonnie Bishop (Fairfax, VA/Trinity Christian) led Randolph with 12 points and six rebounds, going five-of-11 from the field. Guard Brianna Lowry (Herndon, VA/Herndon) had six points and five rebounds, while Chelsea Tyler (Richmond, VA/Henrico) had five points and a game-high eight rebounds.
Junior Sam Sublett (Bedford, VA/Staunton River) chalked up a season-high six points, and Dyllan Peterson (Baltimore, MD/Bryn Mawr) had five points. Randolph made 14 of the 56 shots it fired, but only turned the ball over 17 times, three under its season average.
