Box Score 2 SALEM, VA — The Randolph College volleyball team finished play at the Maroon Classic Saturday, winning in three sets against Averett University in the early match before finishing the tournament with a three-game loss to Methodist University.
Yesterday, the WildCats earned their 10th win of the season with a 3-1 victory over the Ferrum Panthers. The triumph over the Panthers marked the first time since 2004 the WildCats have reach double-digit wins. Later in the day, Randolph dropped a straight-set decision to Southern Virginia University.
First-year Shana Nelson (Columbia, MD/Wilde Lake) was named to the Maroon Classic All-Tournament team for her stellar play this weekend. More details to come as they become available.
