Washington was named Assistant Sports Information Director in August 2024 for Randolph College's Department of Athletics. She assists in overseeing communications for Randolph's 20 intercollegiate athletics programs including managing all social media accounts, creating graphics, taking pictures, game management, statistics, and supervising and mentoring student employees.

Washington attended the NCAA Convention as a delegate of the NCAA DIII Student Immersion Program in January 2022 and the NCAA Career in Sports Forum in June 2023. She was a three-year member of the Virginia Wesleyan Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field team, where she was named to ODAC Indoor Second-Team 2022 in the 60-meter hurdles and ODAC Outdoor Third-Team in 2023 in the 100-meter hurdles. In addition, Washington was a student-worker in the Virginia Wesleyan Athletic Communications department, an intern to the Athletic Director and the Sports Co-Editor of the student newspaper. Also, she was an athletics intern with Old Dominion University for a semester in 2023.

A native of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Washington is a 2023 graduate of Virginia Wesleyan where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport and Recreation Management and minored in Communications. She then went on to pursue her Master of Arts in Sports Journalism at Arizona State University. While in Phoenix, Washington was part of the ASU Stream Team production crew that broadcasts ASU sporting events and recently was a visual journalist/photographer for Cronkite News at Arizona State, where she got the opportunity to photograph the Phoenix Mercury, Pac-12 Baseball Tournament, Arizona Cardinals, Phoenix Suns, and the 2024 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Outside the red brick wall, Washington enjoys doing jigsaw puzzles, word searches and crossword puzzles. Her favorite cuisine is Italian and she enjoys listening to anything on her "liked" Spotify playlist.
