2018-2019: Started at No. 2 singles before moving to the No. 3 spot...fashioned a 4-12 singles record at No. 3...versatile No. 2 and No. 3 doubles player...posted an 8-11 doubles record for the year with a 6-8 record at No. 2 doubles...primarily partnered with Sarah Mueller or Lauren Appel...went 2-3 on the season with Mueller while going 2-5 with Appel.
Personal: Daughter of John and Kristin Mata...has a younger brother, Trent...also played softball at San Marcos Senior High School...minoring in chemistry.
