2016 All-ODAC Third-Team
2019: Finished her senior year second in goals scored with 19 which was also a career-high … tied her personal-best with five scores against Southern Virginia … scooped up 12 groundballs and caused eight turnovers
2018: Enjoyed a productive season for the WildCats … started 14 of 15 games she played in … had a team-high 12 assists … set a new game record with six assists in win against Hollins … stepped up on defense with 10 caused turnovers … picked up 18 groundballs.
2017: Continued her great start to her career with another solid year…played in every game during her second season and started all but one of them…used her strength well in every aspect of the field, as helped on defense a little this year along with her great work in draws, clearing, and in attack…found the back of the net 14 times, which was third on the team…tied for second in assists with five…picked up 15 ground balls…led the team with 45 draw controls, which gave her ninth in the ODAC…also forced five turnovers…had multiple goals against St. Vincent, Southern Virginia, Hollins, and Sweet Briar…posted four goals against SVU and three (plus one assist) in win over HU…also pulled in nine draws against Hollins…will look to continue her stellar career as a junior.
2016: Tremendous in her first season with the WildCats…played in every game but one, and started 11 of the contests…proved to be a handful for other teams to handle, both in attack and during draw controls…on the attacking side of things, she finished third in goals with 18 on the year…had two assists, giving her 20 total points, tying for second on the team…biggest contribution came on draws…pulled in 68 during the season, which allowed her to tie the Randolph single-season record…total also put her third in the conference…second first year to be named to the All-ODAC team…first ''Cat to earn an All-ODAC honor at attack.
Previous: Spent all four years on the JEB Stuart High School lacrosse team…started all four years for the Raiders…was a second-team lacrosse performer.
Personal: Daughter of Jeffrey and Theresa Bailey Dorton…has two siblings, one older and one younger…played basketball for four years and was a captain for two years in basketball for the Raiders.
