Scott Bladen

Scott Bladen was named head coach in October 2018.  He previously was as an assistant coach with the men’s lacrosse program for four years.  Coach Bladen has been instrumental in the development of the men's program, serving as both offensive and defensive coordinator over the past four seasons.  Coach Bladen also played a very important role in recruiting for the WildCats.  

Previously, Coach Bladen served as the head coach of the Forest Lacrosse Club varsity high school boys' program from 2011-12. During his two year tenure with FLC, the team compiled a record of 25-8, including a program best 13-2 mark in 2012 which culminated with the team’s first birth in the Virginia High School Club State Championship Tournament.

Scott has also been involved with the Forest Youth Athletic Association’s youth lacrosse program as well as the Lynchburg Lumberjacks travel lacrosse teams for many years.

A native of Maryland, Scott played lacrosse at North Caroline High School in Ridgely, Md.

Bladen is a graduate of Liberty University with degrees in both Criminal Justice and Interdisciplinary Studies. He and his wife Jamie currently reside in Lynchburg with their son Nathan.
