Ava Rupert

Ava Rupert enters her fourth season as the Assistant Coach at Randolph. Coach Rupert helped lead the WildCats to a 3-9 overall record in the 2021 season, she also supported Sarah Perry to an ODAC All-Conference Third Team selection.

Prior to Randolph, Rupert was the head coach at Jefferson Forest High school from 2015-2019. Her record there was 49-17 with her teams winning three conference championships and advancing to three VHSL Region semifinals. Rupert was a three-time Coach of the Year. She also helped start the girl’s lacrosse programs at Forest Youth Athletic Association in 2008. Rupert has also been a head coach at Worcester Prep School and Stephen Decatur High School in Berlin, MD, Forest Lacrosse Club, and Jefferson Forest High School Club Lacrosse.

A 1987 graduate of Salisbury State College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies, Rupert played lacrosse and field hockey where she was a member of the 1986 NCAA National Championship team.

Coach Rupert is a vibrant Elementary Education teacher at nearby Boonsboro Elementary and has been a coach with Girls On the Run.
