Biography

2016: The senior finished a stellar career…missed one game during the year, but started the remaining 16 contests…always relied on to bring stability and leadership to the backline, which she did with aplomb…routinely helped stop fast break options…forced eight turnovers during the year…pulled in 19 ground balls on the season, which was a career-high for her…also was impressive in coming away with two draw controls as she is generally not in that position….finishes her career having appeared in 60 games, starting 54 of them, with both totals putting her in top ten in the history of the program…will be sorely missed by the team and the staff for her leadership and effort.

2015: Once again started every single game she appeared in, this time starting every single game the WildCats played...provided great leadershp on the backline and was an immense presence the entire year...scooped up 10 ground balls throughout the season...caused five turnovers...will look to provide even greater leadership during her final season at Randolph.

2014: Played in 16 of Randolph''s 17 games in the defensive half, starting in each appearance...caused 13 turnovers, including three on two separate ocassions...had at least ground ball in eight games...controlled five draws on the year...lone shot of the year was placed on goal against Southern Virginia

2013: Played in 13 games in her first year with the WildCats, getting seven starts ... adjusted to the collegiate game well over the last half of the year, becoming an important part of the midfield ... her speed and quickness helped on defense as well ... picked up a season-high three ground balls and caused two turnovers in a win over Hollins ... added three ground balls and a caused turnover at Sweet Briar ... registered her first caused turnover at Washington and Lee ... finished the year with six caused turnovers and 10 loose ball pickups.

Before Randolph: Competed on the lacrosse field for three seasons for the Jefferson Forest club team ... was a captain as a senior for head coach Ava Rupert ... National Honor Society member.

Personal: Daughter of Donna Miller ... has three siblings, Collin McCane, Meagan McCane, and John David McCane ... majoring in education.
