Lynch is in her first season as head softball coach. She came to Randolph from Division I College of Charleston where she was named the 2025 Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Coach of the Year after leading the Cougars to 31 wins and a 20-7 league mark. Charleston ranked as the third most improved team in Div. I last season with an improvement of 21 victories over the 2024 campaign.
In 2022, Lynch took over a Charleston program that finished winless in conference play the year prior and began a remarkable turnaround that culminated four years later with a No. 3 seed in the CAA Tournament, a total of six all-conference selections, and the league's coach of the year honors. During her tenure, the Cougars set records each season for academic success as well.
Prior to joining the College of Charleston, Lynch was an assistant coach at UNC Greensboro from 2015-21 and with Stony Brook University from 2013-15. She served as an assistant at Charleston from 2012-13 and LIU Post from 2010-12.
Lynch is no stranger to the Hill City as she graduated from Liberty University with a degree in Kinesiology in 2009.
Lynch and her husband, Josh Vernon, are the proud parents of two sons, Tucker and Tatum.
