2013: Completed her collegiate career in 2013 by playing every inning for the WildCats at shortstop ... started all 42 games for Randolph in 2013 ... batted .286 as a senior, going 40 for 140 on the year ... led the squad in at-bats and was fifth in the ODAC in that category ... drove in 17 runs in 2013 ... scored 24 runs on the season ... doubled 10 times and homered twice ... was successful in all four of her stolen base attempts ... had three hits and homered against Virginia Intermont ... was three-for-three with two runs in a 9-2 win over Ursinus ... was two-for-three with two doubles at Randolph-Macon April 7 ... finishes her career as the all-time career leader in games played and started, as well as most defensive assists (279) and most chances (565) ... second all-time in hits (179), RBI (107) and total bases (239).
2012: Had a breakout year for the WildCats, becoming one of the best shortstops in the region ... batted .434 on the year, which led Randolph and was second in the ODAC ... posted 53 hits, seventh most in the conference ... was fourth in the conference in on-base percentage ... had 13 games with two or more hits ... was four-for-four against Lynchburg in game one March 22 ... had three hits in a game five times ... homered in her first game of the year against Meredith ... finished the year on a nine-game hitting streak ... led the team with eight doubles ... committed only eight errors all season at shortstop.
2011: Started and played in all 41 games as a sophomore ... batted .307 on the year ... tied for the team lead with five homers ... finished with 14 stolen bases ... second on the team with 42 RBI ... had 13 multi-hit performances, including a four hit, five RBI performance against Averett ... tossed two innings against Southern Virginia in the circle.
2010: Ashley returns for her sophomore season after a productive first campaigh...hit .339 while starting in 42 of her 43 games played...registered six doubles and one homer.
High School: Was a standout softball performer at Stone Bridge High School in Ashburn, VA...was a four-year starter and two-year captain...was a three-year All-Liberty District honoree...honorable mention all-state as a senior.
Personal: Ashley is the daughter of Curtis Gardner and Rose Ann Barrey...has one sister, Lindsay...is a socialogy major.
