2012: Played in 20 games as a junior, returning from a shoulder injury that kept her out all of 2011 ... started 17 games, hitting .250 (8-32) ... was two-for-two with a double against Mary Baldwin March 10 ... was two-for-three in game two at Guilford April 20 ... had a hit and two walks in a victory over Castleton State March 9. 2011: Suffered a injured shoulder which kept her sidelined the entire season ... helped out by charting and calling pitches ... expected back in 2012. Career to Date: Amanda enters her sophomore season after playing in all 43 games as a first-year...hit .222 with four doubles and eight RBI in 2010...made just four errors all season. High School: Was a four-year letter winner in softball, also competing in volleyball and basketball...was a two-year captain at Holy Cross Regional. Personal: Is the daughter of Tommy and Anderia Thacker...has one brother, T.C., and one sister, Samantha...sister Samantha is also a member of the WildCat softball team...is a biology major with a pre-med emphasis.
