Coach Brayden brings a wealth of knowledge on competing at the highest level, being a USTFCCCA-certified Level 1 Coach and having competitive experience at both the D1 and D2 levels. The 2014 Division-II NCAA Champion in the Mile, Burleigh had several appearances at the Division-II National Championships while competing at Shippensburg University.
Prior to his time at Shippensburg, Burleigh was a decorated runner at Virginia Tech, finishing 6th at the 2012 ACC Cross Country Championships and placing on the All-ACC Academic Team.
In addition to his duties at Randolph, Burleigh teaches high school math and continues to compete post-collegiately, holding personal bests in the 1500m (3:46), Mile (4:05), 5k (14:28), 8k (23:54), and 10k (30:00).
