Biography

2013-14: Went 7-7 overall, mostly at No. 5 and No. 6...went 3-5 in ODAC play earning key wins against Lynchburg, Emory and Henry and Shenandoah...started the year 3-1 in doubles play...helped Randolph to the best record in program history.

2012-13: The sophomore moved up the lineup from his first-year campaign, playing almost exclusively at No. 2 singles during the year...ended the year with five singles wins, going 3-9 at the second spot...won three of his first four matches of the year, including a thrilling three-set win over Roanoke in the season opener...earned four doubles wins, pairing with Daniil Lyalko most of the year...tied for the career wins lead with teammate Zach Dales.

2011-12: Had statistically the best season for a men''s tennis player at the College ever...went 9-9 on the year in singles action, which set a single season mark for wins in the program...was voted as team MVP for the WildCats...was 6-3 on the season when playing at No. 6 singles...also picked up five doubles'' wins on the year...should continue to be a strong depth player for the WildCats for seasons to come.  

Personal: Son of Phung Minh Son and Tran Lan Huong...sibling of Phung Tivong Giang...undecided major. Dan came to Randolph for the small class sizes and the great professors.
