2012: Borgelt shifted from playing short-stick middie as a first-year to getting runs with the top midfield line ... played in all 15 games as a sophomore, starting 12 ... notched five goals and dished out two assists ... scored two goals and assisted on another in a win over Piedmont ... scored in games against Greensboro College, Mitchell College and Randolph-Macon College ... posted a game-winner against Piedmont ... had 16 ground balls on the year. 2011: A very smart, speedy defensive midfielder that runs the field well...played in all 13 games off the bench, mostly on the short-stick defensive side of the ball...picked up 11 ground balls as a first-year, including three in his first collegiate contest versus CNU...had three ground balls at Virginia Wesleyan...caused one turnover against CNU. High School: Attended Mouldin High School in Mauldin, SC…played attack for the varsity lacrosse team for three years…started two seasons… won Region 2-A All Region Award in 2009 and 2010.
