2015-2016: Had a terrific first year for the WildCats…missed three games due to injury, but played in every other 26 games, which included 24 starts…was one of the best newcomers in the conference…was named ODAC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week after coming up big in wins against Lynchburg Eastern Mennonite…second on the team in scoring with 11.5 points per game and first in rebounding with 6.6…shot 57.5% from the floor, which was second best in the ODAC by .5%...pulled down seven double-doubles during the year, including two in the ODAC tournament…scored a season-high 20 points against VWC in the ODAC semis, and added 12 boards in the game…grabbed a season-high 14 rebounds against Lawrence…a great defender down low as well, blocking 15 shots, which was the sixth best season total in school history...will look to have another great year as a sophomore.

Previous: Spent three years playing for Ardry Kell High School…started for the Knights for two seasons…helped the Knights advance to the 4A State Championship game.

Personal: Son of Steven and Cindy Freund…has one older brother…was in the National Music Honor Society for playing the cello.
