2018-19: Played in every game in his senior year … started last four games of the season including both ODAC Tournament games … was a key reserve and a top option off the bench … had personal-highs in nearly every statistical category … scored a season-best 14 points against Shenandoah … pulled down nine rebounds at Bridgewater.
2017-18: Played valuable minutes for the WildCats over the course of the season ... scored 11 points in his first game of the season ... played a season-high 25 minutes against Emory and Henry ... had a high of seven rebounds in that contest.
2016-2017: Took on a much larger role in his second season on Rivermont…played in all but four games on the year, working in several roles…played on the wing at times, but also provided help down low when the team needed it…started the first seven games of the year, and was leading the league in rebounding early on…posted his first-career double-double in 14 point, 10 rebound effort in win over Christendom…scored career-high 16 against Bridgewater, hitting two threes…hit multiple threes on six occasions…had career-high 11 boards against Maryville…averaged 5.3 points and 3.4 rebounds per game…will look to make another big step as a junior.
2015-2016: The backup guard appeared in nine games during his first season on Rivermont…showed a good scoring knack and a very athletic option off the bench…the hard worker will look to take on a larger role as a sophomore, especially filling roles opened due to graduation.
Previous: Played two years for William Byrd High School…started one season and was named captain that year for the Terriers…helped the Terriers win the Conference 31 title…was named to Second-Team All-Blue Ridge District, All-Conference 31, and All-Timesland…made the Northside Invitational All-Tournament Team…named Student-Athlete of the Month by the VA Talk Radio Network for January 2015.
Personal: Son of Bill and Leslie Hayden…has one brother…member of the SUPER program.
