2015 Doc Greene Tournament MVP
2015-2016: Ended a great career with a great season…one of only three players to play in all 29 games during the season, and the only player to start 28 times…averaged 8.8 points per game during the season, including scoring in double-figures 11 times…had a career-high 22 points in the win on Senior Day over Washington and Lee…averaged 13.5 points during the ODAC Tournament run which saw the WildCats play in the championship…was named to All-Tournament team for his efforts…did a great job on the boards, pulling down 4.9 per game…will go down as one of the most important players in program history as he is only one of two players in the class to appear in every game…played the fourth most minutes of any player in program history, started the seventh most games, and tied for the most amount of appearances…is the sixth all-time leading scorer in program history with 936 points…will be sorely missed by the team and staff.
2014-2015: Only member of the ‘Cats to play and start every single game of the season…provided his usual toughness and durability that he brought the previous two years, as he finished 16th in the conference in minutes played, with 29.4…averaged 9.6 points and four rebounds per game during his junior year…set a new career-high with a 22-point outburst in the win over Roanoke, where he shot 7-10 from the field and 7-8 from the line…tallied double-figures in 12 different games during the year…had a season-high seven assists in the win over Shenandoah University…averaged nearly two assists per game…will look to finish out a stellar career as a senior.
2013-14: Played in all 26 games...started in the final 16 contests of the season...posted a career high of 17 points and led the team in scoring in each of two games: first in the 67-45 win over Maritime (N.Y.), in which he nailed 7-of-11 from the floor and grabbed nine boards, matching the career high in rebounds he had set just two days earlier against Staten Island—and once again scoring 17 points at Randolph-Macon...had an overall free throw percentage of 70.0% at home...was third on the team in rebounds per game, with a 4.3 average...he and Mike Ehilegbu shared the spot for greatest number of total assists during the 2013-14 season, each with a total of 58, and Cory handed out a career-high five assists against Hampden-Sydney...ranked second on the team in total steals and steals per game...his overall scoring average was 10.4 points per game, and he increased this average to 12 points per game in conference play, with double-digit scoring in nine of the final 10 games, and in 16 of the 26 contests overall...shot 50.0% or better from the field in each of the team’s final five games of the year.
2012-13: Showed a ton of promise for the future as the swing player exploded towards the end of the season...played in all 28 games for Randolph, coming off the bench in all 28...averaged 20.7 minutes as a first-year...struggled early but improved his shooting percentage to 35.5 percent on the season...nailed 22-of-72 from behind the arc...posted a career-high 14 points, going five-of-10 from the floor in a home win over Washington and Lee University February 9...notched 12 points in a victory over Lynchburg February 13...was five-of-six from the floor in scoring 13 points at Christendom December 3...averaged 9.8 points per game over his last six games of the season...pulled in a career-high seven rebounds at LC...dished out a career-high five helpers at Emory University March 2 in the NCAA Tournament.
Before Randolph: Was a four-year letter winner for the Trojans of Walsingham Academy...helped Walsingham earn a regular season TCIS championship twice...named All-Tidewater Independent Schools First-Team three times...All-State First Team three times at Walsingham...posted tournament championships at Trinity Episcopal Classic (2011-12) and Peninsula Catholic Holiday Classic (2009-10, 10-11).
Personal: Son of Charles and Lisa Brown...has six siblings, Kai, Dyami, Khafre, Persona, Neko Brown and Casey Jones...sociology major.
