2012-13: Finished his collegiate in style, as he tossed his name into the conversation as possibly the best player in the country in 2012-13 ... was a Jostens Trophy finalist ... averaged 24.2 points per game as a senior, third-best in the nation ... led the ODAC in points, points per game, total field goals, minutes played, free throws made, taken and percentage, defensive rebounds, and steals ... was ranked in the top 15 in steals per game ... averaged 7.3 rebounds per game, which was fourth best in the ODAC ... dished out 83 total helpers, seventh most in the league ... scored over 30 points on six times ... set the program record for points in a game with 36 points against both Shenandoah University December 8 and William Peace January 21 ... netted over 20 points in 21 contests ... had 35 points in a victory over Ferrum December 5 ... chalked up 33 points in a loss to Hampden-Sydney ... hit a game-tying jumper and game-winner in overtime against Huntingdon December 30 ... nailed the game-winner with 0.8 seconds left against Guilford February 6 ... notched 33 points, making 16-of-18 from the line, against Emory & Henry January 30 ... scored 20 or more points in nine straight games during the year ... tallied 13 rebounds, a career-high, against Washington and Lee February 9 ... chalked up 10 or more boards in six contests ... had a career-best eight assists against Guilford February 8 ... finished with seven steals in a home win over Roanoke ... finished his career as the only ODAC player ever to tally 1,800 points, 600 rebounds, 200 assists and 200 steals ... first Randolph athlete ever to earn CoSIDA Academic All-American of the Year.
2011-12: Moved his name into the conversation as one of the most well-rounded guards in the country ... finished second in the league with a 17.6 scoring average ... was top 10 in the conference in field goals made, three-pointers made, three-point percentage, free throw percentage, defensive boards, assists, steals and total points ... set the ODAC Tournament record with 101 points over the four games ... had games of 26, 29 and a program-record 32 in the ODAC Tourney ... set a career-high twice this season, going for 30 against Bridgewater College and then upping the total with 32 against Virginia Wesleyan in the ODAC Finals ... scored over 20 points seven times ... became the first-ever Randolph men''s player to score 1,000 in a career ... has 1,200 points even going into his senior season ... career leader in six categories.
2010-11: Had one of the best seasons of any WildCat basketball player ever ... led the conference in steals and was sixth in scoring with 15.6 points per game ... scored in double-figures in 24 of the 26 games he player ... shot 50.7 percent from the floor and 40.6 percent from downtown ... averaged five boards per game ... led the team with 80 assists ... scored a career-high and program record 26 points against Roanoke Jan. 19 ... scored 25 points in an ODAC Tournament win over Va. Wesleyan ... scored 24 points on 8-14 shooting in a home win over Hampden-Sydney ... netted seven games with 20 or more points ... nabbed a season-high nine boards against Roanoke, Washington & Lee and Shenandoah ...currently holds 11 single-season and career records at Randolph.
2009-10: Hunt had one of the most productive seasons in Randolph College men’s basketball history, as the 6-0 guard averaged 11.8 points and 5.6 rebounds a game for the WildCats a year ago...he averaged 26.5 minutes a game, mostly in a reserve role, while starting six games on the season...scored 14 points and wrestled away five rebounds in his first collegiate game at Gallaudet...scored a career-high 23 points at home against nationally-ranked Eastern Mennonite, goint 7-13 from the field and hitting eight of his 10 free throws...picked up his first double-double a game before at VMI, scoring 22 points to go with 10 rebounds...scored 19 points against the Yellow Jackets of Randolph-Macon College on 12/2/09, also pulling in nine caroms...hit on seven of 10 from the floor on the way to scoring 18 points against Roanoke College on January 20...at Guilford, scored six points, dished out seven assists and snatched five boards on the evening...scored in double figures 15 times as a first-year...made at least one field goal in every game...was 8-11 against Piedmont College, scoring 20 points.
Personal: Hunt is majoring in business...enjoys relaxing and studying when not playing basketball...participates in Student Government at Randolph...was a 1,000 point scorer at Smoky Mountain HS...member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and National Honor Society at SMHS...named conference player of the year as a senior...also played baseball and football.
