Kee comes to Randolph after leading the Apprentice School (Va.) to a 25-5 record in 2023-24 and a United Small College Athletic Association (USCAA) national championship. He spent five seasons as the head coach in Newport News and compiled an 81-59 record during that span. He was named the 2023 USCAA National Coach of the Year after leading the Builders to a 21-8 record and a New South Athletic Conference (NSAC) title.

In his first season with Randolph, the WildCats set the program record for points scored in a single season and three-pointers made in season. Senior Jordan Phillips-McLoyd led the ODAC in scoring and was named to the All-Conference Team.

Kee has prior experience with the ODAC having been an assistant coach at Bridgewater in 2015. He was also an assistant coach with Keuka College (N.Y.), Elmira College (N.Y.), Marymount University (Va.), and Christopher Newport (Va.) prior to his first head coaching position at Apprentice.

Kee graduated from Hampton University in 2012 with his degree in Sports Management. While coaching at Elmira, he completed his master's degree in education.

"Randolph College Men's Basketball has a strong foundation and I look forward to working with the talented returners that we have as well as adding some players to the program," stated Kee. "We will work hard to put an exciting product on the floor that of which our school and the Lynchburg community will be proud."

Kee and his wife Ashley have a son Kayden and a daughter Chanel.
