WINCHESTER, Va. - The Randolph College men's cross country team started the 2026 season at the SU Twilight, hosted by Shenandoah University on Friday evening. 

Randolph's men placed 6th with 181 team points.

First-year Owen McHugh had a breakout debut performance in running a new school record in the 6k with a time of 20:45.5 to finish 11th among 88 athletes. 

Edward Koroma was the WildCats' second finisher in 22:22.4. Three WildCats finished one behind the other with Mason Williams with a personal best of 23:22.2, Ariel Huseni in 23:23.8 for a personal best, and Jarrett Bjurman in 23:33.0 in his debut as a WildCat.

Brendan Sharp rounded out the crew in 26:15.6 in his first collegiate race.

Randolph travels to its second meet of the season on September 19th for the South Regional Preview hosted by University of Lynchburg in Earlysville, Va. at the Panorama Farms.
