ASHLAND, Va. - The honorees have been selected for the 2025-26 Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) Academic All-State Team as announced on Tuesday. Randolph had six WildCats named to the team for their efforts in the classroom and on the field, court, pool, and track. 

To be considered, a student-athlete must have a cumulative 3.25 GPA or better and are sophomores or higher. This year, there were a total of 36 schools and 215 athletes that were honored.
 
The six WildCats honored are listed below:

Mackenzie Woodson, Senior, Norfolk, Va., Biology, Women's Volleyball/Women's Lacrosse
Vincenzo Marchese, Sophomore, Italy, Economics, Men's Tennis
Ahmed Diallo, Sophomore, Aurora, Colo., Biology, Men's Volleyball
Evan Shopbell, Senior, Forest, Va., Sport and Exercise Studies, Men's Swimming
Jessica Taylor, Junior, Monroe, Va., Sport and Exercise Studies, Women's Track & Field
