LEXINGTON, Va.- The Randolph men's tennis team took on Washington and Lee in one of two ODAC Tournament semifinals on Saturday morning on the Generals' home court. The Generals defeated the WildCats by the score of 4-1.
W&L led 1-0 after doubles was completed. Jason Martin (Wadebridge Cornwall, Great Britain Callywith College) and Andreas Mulner (Brasnov, Romania) were able to edge out the pair of Henry Imorde and Heys Parker 7-6 at first doubles. Third doubles was also a close decision that saw Tom Laflamme (Sunshine Coast, QLD Australia Sunshine Coast Grammar School) and Vincenzo Marchese fall to Sahil Arora and Pearce Lane 7-6.
The WildCats picked up one point in singles play. Marchese took down Lane 6-2, 6-2 at third singles.
Randolph ends their season with an overall record of 13-6. The 13 wins are a program record.
