Three WildCats Named to Academic All-District Team

LYNCHBURG, Va.- The College Sports Communicators released its 2026 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Tennis Teams which recognizes the nation's top students for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Randolph was recognized by Maddie Mills (Fredericksburg, Va./Riverbend) for the women and Andreas Mulner (Brasnov, Romania) and Vincenzo Marchese for the men.

Mills just completed her junior year for the WildCats. She posted a singles record of 7-9 and was 4-4 in doubles play. She was 4-0 paired with partner Amy Rigg at third doubles.

Mills is a Creative Writing major. She is writing lab tutor and editor for the Hail! Muse literary magazine and is a tennis instructor for junior classes in the summer.

Marchese went 15-6 in singles play and was 12-3 at the third position. He won four of his last five matches of the season including the only match of the ODAC Semifinals. He is an Economics major.

Mulner went 17-7 overall in singles play going 4-0 at #1 singles and 12-3 at #2 singles.  He currently holds the men's program's career singles win record of 48. He is a Sport and Exercise Studies major.
