HIGH POINT, N.C. — The Randolph College women's track and field team competed at the VertKlasse Meeting hosted by High Point University to open up April competition.

Renya Russell led the WildCats in the sprints, posting a time of 12.81 in the 100m dash and a personal-best mark of 25.95 in the 200m dash.

Ryleigh Frayser recorded a personal-best time of 14.00 in the 100m dash and finished the 400m dash in 1:07.15.

Jessica Taylor turned in a season-best time of 25.90 in the 200m dash and added a mark of 59.41 in the 400m dash.

Shaniya Owens rounded out the meet for Randolph with a personal-best time of 1:12.31 in the 400m hurdles.

The team continues the outdoor season back home as they head to the University of Lynchburg for the Dennis Craddock Invitational April 10-11.
