LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph women's tennis team hosted Virginia Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon. The Marlins defeated the WildCats by the score of 6-1.
VWU took all three doubles matches to lead 1-0. Randolph's lone win came at second singles. Fleur Gaalman (Abcoude, Utrecht, Netherlands Haarlemmermeer Lyceum Dalton) faced Sarah Reich and needed three sets but came out the winner 6-4, 4-6, 7-5.
The WildCats host Randolph-Macon in the regular season home finale on Monday. The match begins at 4:00 p.m.
