LOUISVILLE, KY- The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced its Team of the Week late on Tuesday. Randolph junior defender Kalon Ross (Landover, Md./Central HS) was one of 10 Division III players selected.
Ross is the second WildCat defender to earn USILA honors this season after Britton Malcolm did the same back on February 25. Earlier this week, Ross was named the ODAC Defensive Player of the Week.
Ross totaled 14 groundballs and nine caused turnovers in two Randolph wins last week. He had a season-high five caused turnovers in the WildCats' win over Warren Wilson and eight groundballs in a 10-8 victory over Averett.
In the ODAC statistical rankings, Ross is 11th is caused turnovers per game at1.86.
