FOREST, Va.- The Old Dominion Athletic Conference announced its weekly awards in Men's Lacrosse on Monday. Randolph sophomore Kalon Ross was selected as the Defensive Player of the Week.
In two games last week for the WildCats, Ross had 14 groundballs and nine caused turnovers. He caused five turnovers in Randolph's 11-7 win over Warren Wilson last Wednesday and picked up six groundballs. Ross then had a season-high eight groundball pickups and caused four turnover in the 'Cats 10-8 ODAC opening win over Averett on Saturday. Ross caused a Cougar turnover late in the fourth quarter to prevent a potential scoring opportunity.
