ADA, OH- The Randolph men's wrestling team competed at the NCAA Regionals hosted by Ohio Northern University on Friday and Saturday. The WildCats placed 19th with a total of 16 points.
Theodore Piluso (Troutville, Va./Lord Botetourt) was the top finisher for the WildCats as he placed seventh in the 165-weight class. Piluso started with a 7-3 decision over Washington and Jefferson's Jiovanni DeChicchis and then defeated Wyatt Kinne from Southern Virginia by an 11-6 decision. After falling to Cade Parent from Roanoke by a technical fall in the quarterfinals, Piluso took down King Wright from Hiran by fall. He fell to Muskingum's Aiden Stecker and then scored a major decision victory over Jacob Potts from Thiel 17-3 in the seventh-place match.
