STUNT Earns a Pair of Victories in Season Opener

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. - The Randolph College STUNT opened the 2026 campaign at the East Stroudsburg Tournament. They faced six teams over the course of two days. The team picked up two wins, 15-0 against Saint Elizabeth and 11-1 against Albright. However, the team fell to Centenary (LA) 0-24, Misericordia 0-12, Malone 0-12, and East Stroudsburg 0-12. 

Against Saint Elizabeth, the WildCats swept all four periods, 15-0. The WildCats controlled the match from the opening routines, taking 2-0 wins in each of the first three periods before delivering a decisive performance in the fourth period with nine points. The win secured both an overall victory and a division win for Randolph, as the team executed consistently across partner stunts, pyramids, and team routines.

In the team's second win of the weekend, Randolph, after splitting the opening period, the WildCats took control of the match by winning the second and third periods, 2-0, before closing out the contest with a dominant six-point performance in the fourth period. Randolph's consistent execution across routines proved decisive as the team pulled away for the convincing win.

The 'Cats are back on the mat on March 14-15 when they go to Dallas, Pa., for the Misericordia University Tournament.
