FRANKLIN, Ga. - The Randolph College women's wrestling team were back in Georgia for the 2026 Women's Wrestling NCAA Regionals hosted by Emmanuel University. Day two saw four WildCats place in the top-6 of their respective weight class.
Chloe Simmons, at 103, faced Celeste Welch of Newberry in Round 3 of the consolation bracket and won by a fall of 12-4. In the semis she won by tech fall over Katie Ramsay of Southern Virginia. However, Simmons fell in the third-place match to Lilian Prendergast of Mount Olive. Simmons placed fourth.
Alanna Jennings took fourth in the 110-weight class. She fell in the championship semifinal to Avery Kielbek from King University. She then went on to the consolation semifinals and won by a fall of 2-0 in 1:45. In the third-place match, she fell to Katie Simmons of Mount Olive in a tech fall.
Consolation round three,
Kylie Brigman faced Morgan Layman of Frostburg State and fell 11-2.
Stephanie Noel got the win 9-1, major decision, over Trinity Butler of Frostburg State to move into the consolation semifinals, where she fell to Carina Giangeruso of Presbyterian. Noel tools sixth place.
In the 207 class,
LJ Peters took the fall to Mount Olive's Zaria Robinson in the championship semifinals. In the consolation semifinals she won by a fall of 5:36, 8-9, over Ja'Khia Matthews of Waynesburg to move to the third-place match. In that match, she fell to Katianna Martinez to place fourth.
