GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Old Dominion Athletic Conference announced its 2026 All-Conference Team for Men's Swimming on Saturday evening at the conclusion of the 2026 ODAC Men's & Women's Swimming Championships in Greensboro, N.C.

Senior Evan Shopbell was named to the All-ODAC Third Team. He is the WildCats' first All-Conference honoree in six years since Jeff Oliveri (Second Team) in 2020.

At the Championships meet, Shopbell placed sixth in the 1650 freestyle to earn his All-Conference honor. He then became the highest finisher for a male swimmer since the current coaches' tenure. His time of 16:36.97 broke the school record, and in breaking that record, he also broke the 1,000 freestyle record with a split time of 9:59.95 in his 1650 free finals swim.
