GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Randolph College women's swimming team wrapped ODAC Championship competition on Saturday with solid performances and new school records.
In the 200 backstroke,
Kaitlyn Heckman led the 'Cats with a 2:26.51, and Kitts followed suit with a 2:50.32.
Taylor Eshelman swam into the B-finals later that evening after swimming a qualifying time of 56.04 in the 100 free. She came back in the finals to finish 15th with a time of 56.48.
Rio Bucy also competed and finished in 1:01.26.
Alaura Arringdale finished in 2:54.13 in the 200 breaststroke for the WildCats. Dyl was not too far behind in 3:03.74.
Katelyn Spuchesi took 16th in the 1650 Free with a time of 19:36.29 for a school record.
The 400 free relay saw Eshelman, Heckman, Ward, and Spuchesi break a 22-year old record by four tenths of second in 3:50.24 for seventh place.
The team finished seventh with 130 points.
