WINCHESTER, Va.- The Randolph men's wrestling team competed at the ODAC Championships hosted by Shenandoah University on Saturday.
Noah Williams (Lynchburg, Va./E.C.Glass/Lord Botetourt) had the highest placement for the WildCats as he came in fourth at the 149-weight class. Williams' lone win on the day was an 18-17 decision over Greensboro's Josue DelCid.
Matthew Garland (Lynchburg, Va./Heritage HS) came in fifth at 157. He took down Southern Virginia's Kyler North by technical fall in the Consolation First Round and then fell to Carter Shupert from Averett by an 11-4 decision in the semifinals. Garland won his fifth-place match over Carson Gardner from Greensboro by tech fall.
Elijah Frizzell (Waynesville, N.C./Pisgah HS) had one win on the day at 285. He edged out Amarion Wilson from the Pride by a 3-2 decision.
