GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Randolph College men's swimming team wrapped ODAC Championship competition on Saturday with solid performances and finals qualifiers.
Marshall Howard kicked off the day with a B-final qualifying time of 2:03.38 in the 200 backstroke for 16th place. In the finals, Howard came in 15th with a time of 2:04.91.
Aiden Tuck also competed and finished in 2:26.98.
In the 100 Free,
Josh Vogl led the WildCats with a 48.98.
Solomon Lewis clocked a 53.82,
Conner Fulcher came in at 59.73, and
Mason Williams finished in 1:06.69.
Ben Hiss returned to the 200 breaststroke B-finals later that evening with a preliminary time of 2:16.93 for 16th place. Hiss took 16th place in the finals with a time of 2:13.84.
Will Perrow came in at 2:48.95.
Evan Shopbell took sixth, the highest finish for a male swimmer, in the 1650 Free with a time of 16:36.97 for a new school record. In breaking the 1650 free record, he also broke the 1,000 free with a split time of 9:59.95 in his 1650 free finals swim.
The 400 free relay saw Hiss, Shopbell, Vogl, and Howard in 3:22.58 for seventh place.
The team finished with 143 points for sixth place.
