GREENSBORO, N.C. - Back in the pool for day three of the 2026 ODAC Championships, the WildCats qualified one to the finals later that evening, followed by all-around performances from the squad.
The meet opened up with the 100 Fly in which
Channing Scott led the WildCats with a 56.21, and
Aiden Tuck followed in 59.82.
Solomon Lewis was the lone WildCat to compete in the 200 Free, where he finished with a 2:03.82.
The 100 breaststroke included four WildCats.
Ben Hiss paced the team with 15th place finish in the prelims (1:01.20) to qualify for the B-Finals later that evening. In the finals, he finished 14th in a 1:00.54.
Josh Vogl was just outside the qualification realm, in which he placed 19th in 1:03.93. Scott, back in the pool, swam a 1:08.46, and William Perrow clocked a 1:17.52.
Marshall Howard clocked a 57.17 for the 100 backstroke for 17th, just outside the guaranteed qualification bubble. Tuck also competed and swam a time of 1:05.28 in the prelims.
In the evening session as well, the WildCats competed in the 200 Medley relay. The team of Howard, Hiss, Scott, and Vogl came in 1:42.49 for seventh place.
The team remains in sixth with 103 points after day three. The final day of competition begins tomorrow at 10 a.m. and the evening session starts at 5 p.m. with the awards ceremony to follow.
