ASHLAND, Va. - The Randolph College men's swimming team traveled to Randolph-Macon for its final regular-season meet on Friday afternoon ahead of the 2026 ODAC Championships. The WildCats fell to the Yellow Jackets 50-152.
The 200-yard medley relay team of
Marshall Howard,
Ben Hiss,
Channing Scott, and
Milo Fagan clocked a 1:44.73 for third place.
Evan Shopbell was the top finisher in the 1000-yard free with a time of 10:33.76. Fagan took second in the 200-yard free in 1:55.19. Howard followed with a 2:00.03, and
Mason Williams came in at 2:29.20.
In the 50-yard free,
Josh Vogl placed third with a time of 23.26.
Solomon Lewis had a time of 25.47, and
Conner Fulcher had a time of 28.91.
Ben Hiss got second place in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:10.60, and
Will Perrow clocked in at 2:39.00.
Scott and Fulcher swam in the 100-yard butterfly, in which Scott placed third in a time of 58.55, and Fulcher came in at 1:20.96. Vogl took fourth in the 100-yard free in 52.44, Lewis in 57.17, and Perrow in 1:03.40.
In the 100-yard backstroke, Howard finished in 1:00.70, and Williams finished in 1:23.79. Shopbell claimed another first-place finish in the 500-yard free in 5:09.32. Fulcher competed and came in at 7:07.00.
Hiss, Fagan, and Perrow swam in the 100-yard breaststroke and clocked times of 1:03.52, 1:06.49, and 1:21.13.
Shopbell, Vogl, Lewis, and Scott clocked in at 1:35.03 for third place in the 200-yard free.
The team will now gear up for the 2026 ODAC Championships in Greensboro, N.C., on Feb. 11-14 on FloCollege.
