The Randolph men's tennis team will make its second straight appearance in the ODAC Tournament Quarterfinals as the WildCats travel to Hampden-Sydney. Randolph is the sixth seed and the Tigers are the third seed. The match will be Wednesday at 12:00 p.m.

How They Got Here:Â Â Randolph went 9-6 in the regular season and 5-4 in conference play. The WildCats earned the sixth seed outright. The Tigers posted a 13-7 regular season record and were 7-2 in ODAC play.
The Series: The two teams will be meeting for the 18th time overall. Hampden-Sydney leads 12-5.
Last Time: The two teams last played each other on Randolph's home court on March 26.  The Tigers won the match 4-3. Randolph trailed 1-0 after doubles play but picked up wins in the singles portion. Andreas Mulner won easily over Dillion McReynolds 6-0, 6-0 at #1 singles, Vincenzo Marchese was a 6-0, 6-2 over Thomas Davis at #3 singles and Carlos Haupt won 6-3, 6-1 over Jonathan Fogle at sixth singles. Fifth singles was the deciding match with Henry Singleton defeating Jason Duval 7-6, 4-6, 6-3
In the ODAC Tournament: Randolph is making its sixth ODAC Tournament appearance overall. They are 0-5 and have yet to win a singles or doubles match. This the first matchup between the two schools in the ODAC Tournament. The Tigers have qualified for the tournament 14 times since the current format was adopted in 2007. Hampden-Sydney has won three ODAC Championships (1981, 1982, 2009) and have been ODAC Championship runners-up five times (2008, 2010, 2011, 2018, 2019)
The WildCats: Four WildCats have 10 or more singles wins on the season. Andreas Mulner is 14-6 playing at first and second singles and is 7-0 at second singles. Jacob Martin is 14-8 playing at first and second singles. Vincenzo Marchese is 11-7 with a 9-5 record at third singles. Lukas Rathgeb is 10-8 playing at third, fourth, fifth, and sixth singles.  Martin and Pelda have gone 11-4 at first doubles. Mulner and Martin have teamed up to go 6-1 overall and 4-1 in ODAC play having won their last four matches.
The Tigers: Barrett Foster has won a team-high 18 singles matches with a 12-6 record in dual matches at first doubles. Henry Singleton is 16-6 playing a majority of his matches at #5 where he is 9-4. He has a 5-1 mark in ODAC play. Emerson Rice is 15-12 playing across #1, #2, #3, and #4 singles. McReynolds and Taylor Fox have won 10 matches each. Foster and Davis have gone 20-4 at #1 doubles and won their last seven matches.
