BRIDGEWATER, Va.- The Randolph women's tennis team faced Bridgewater on Saturday afternoon. The WildCats defeated the Eagles 7-0.

Randolph improves to 7-3 overall and remains undefeated in ODAC play at 4-0.

All three doubles teams won their respective matches. Lena Kersten (Bonn, Germany/Otto Kuhn Schule) and Fleur Gaalman (Abcoude, Utrecht, Netherlands/Haarlemmermeer Lyceum Dalton) won at first doubles 6-3. Emma Bauer (Munich, Germany) and Maddie Mills (Fredericksburg, Va./Riverbend) won their match at second doubles 6-1. Gianna Cabrera (Portsmouth, Va.) and Sabrina Dickerson (Brookneal, Va.) were 6-0 winners at third doubles.

In singles play, Kersten won 6-0, 6-1 over Sarah Slagle. Gaalman won at second singles over Jolexie Whetzel 6-4, 6-0. Bauer knocked off Emma Staton 6-4, 6-0 at third singles. Dickerson needed three sets in her match against Raea Crabill. Dickerson won the first set 6-2 while Crabill took the second set 6-4. Dickerson won the third set 1-0 (10-6). Mills won her fifth singles match against Devon Wichael 6-3, 6-2. Cabrera defeated Charlotte Weaver 6-1, 6-3 at sixth singles.

Randolph hosts Washington and Lee this coming Wednesday. The match begins at 4:00 p.m.
