LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Randolph women's lacrosse team took on Eastern Mennonite in an ODAC matchup on Wednesday evening, falling 1-22 to the Royals.
The WildCats struck first as
Mackenzie Woodson found the back of the net off an assist from
Zoe Green at the 13:50 mark in the first quarter. However, Eastern Mennonite responded with a dominant offensive performance, scoring 10 unanswered goals to take control of the game.
Eastern Mennonite continued their offensive pressure and capitalized on scoring opportunities in the third and fourth quarters.
The WildCats had six total shots as a team on the night. Goalkeeping duties were split between
Mireya Norville and
Jessica Reyes. Norville had five saves, while Reyes had three.
The 'Cats head over to University of Lynchburg next Saturday for a 7 p.m. game.
