Men’s Wrestling Competes at ODAC Championships

LEXINGTON, Va.- The Randolph men's wrestling team competed at the 2024 ODAC Championships hosted by Washington and Lee on Saturday. Three WildCats had sixth place finishes on the day.

Zak Gurban (Dumfries, Va.) totaled 6.5 points for the WildCats at the 133-weight class. He had a forfeit win in the consolation first round. He lost in the semifinals to Shenandoah's Heath Burks by major decision and fell in 4:42 in the fifth-place match to Southern Virginia's Francisco Ramirez.

Noah Williams (Lynchburg, Va./E.C. Glass) received a bye in the first round of consolation in the 149-weight class. He lost by tech fall to Ferrum's Cameron Curva and lost another tech fall to Porter Kinne from Southern Virginia in the fifth-place match.

Jordan Nutter (Fredericksburg, Va./Courtland HS) had a bye in the 157-weight class consolation first round. He lost by an 8-1 decision to Joseph Olade from Ferrum and lost by fall in 1:39 in the fifth-place match.
