LYNCHBURG, Va. - The Randolph women's wrestling team delivered a dominant performance at home, earning a 43-5 win over Southern Virginia.

Randolph jumped out to an early lead with
Chloe Simmons getting a win over Katie Ramsey in a technical fall and two straight forfeits, as
Alanna Jennings (110), and
Kylie Brigman (117) each picked up automatic victories.

Action on the mat started at 124 pounds, where
Ayden Schultz secured a fall over Andrea Castro at the 2:47 mark. At 131,
Marielle Hirkala added bonus points with a lightning-fast technical fall, defeating Seani Casperon 10-0 in just 25 seconds.

The Wildcats kept the momentum rolling with back-to-back pins, as
Jaden Kopalchick (138) pinned Leigh-Anne Verburg in 35 seconds and
Stephanie Noel (145) followed with a fall over Gracie Black in 48 seconds.

Southern Virginia got on the board at 160 pounds, where Alexis Kirkland pinned Randolph's
Jenna Moening in 57 seconds.

Randolph closed the dual in style, as
Sophia Butler (180) earned a fall over Dazi Thatcher at 1:56, and
LJ Peters (207) capped the night with a forfeit victory.

The Wildcats finished the night with a commanding 43-5 team victory.
