Piluso Places Third at Ohio Northern Invitational

TJ Piluso placed third in his weight class

ADA, OH- The Randolph men's wrestling team competed at the Ohio Northern Invitational on Saturday.

For the second time this season, Theodore Piluso (Troutville, Va./Lord Botetourt) placed third in the 165-weight class. He defeated Landon Irvin from ONU 9-4. His only loss came in his next match as he fell to Carter Mottley from Otterbein. Piluso then took down Joel Carter from Heidelberg by technical fall 19-4, Irvin again 17-1, Hunter Buckland from Ohio Northern 11-7 by fall and then avenged his earlier loss to Mottley by defeating him 13-3 in the third-place match.

Elijah Frizell (Waynesboro, Va./Pisgah HS) had two wins on the day at 285. He had a 3-0 victory over Edward Powers from Hiram College and a 9-2 win against Justin Kephart from the University of Olivet.

Colton Webster (Lynchburg, Va./Heritage HS) edged out Andrew Muskin from Ohio Wesleyan 15-14 for his lone victory at the 184-weight class.

The WildCats will compete in an ODAC dual match at Roanoke on December 17.
