DANVILLE, Va.- The Randolph men's wrestling team competed at the Cougar Duals on Sunday.

Matthew Garland (Lynchburg, Va./Heritage HS) came in third place in the 157-weight class. He started his day with a 7-5 decision over David Norris from Apprentice. Garland took a loss to Dimetrus Rice from Apprentice 21-5 in a tech fall. Garland then went on to defeat Oluwajuwon Omotoso 5-2 by fall and the scored an 8-5 win over Aiden Sanders in the third-place match.

Randolph will compete in the Shenandoah Invitational next Sunday.
