BRIDGEWATER, Va.- The Randolph women's tennis team finished its fall season as the WildCats faced Bridgewater in a designated non-conference match on Saturday. Randolph won by the score of 7-0.

The WildCats took two of three doubles matches to lead 1-0. Mikayla Smith (Pittsville, Md./Parkside HS) and Natalie Thompson (Rutherfordton, N.C./Polk County HS) defeated Macy Harris and Kira Doyne 6-4 at second doubles. Amy Rigg (Charlottesville, Va./The Covenant School) and Maddie Mills (Fredericksburg, Va./Riverbend) were 6-2 winners against the pair of Charlotte Weaver and Carson Cale at third doubles.

Randolph took all six singles matches. Rachel Combs (Benbrook, Texas/Homeschool) was a 6-3, 6-0 winner over Sarah Slagle at first singles. Sophia Cahue (Aurora, IL/Metea Valley HS) defeated Doyne 6-0, 6-0 at second singles. Smith won 6-3, 6-1 over Harris at third singles. Rigg held off Regan Witt 6-1, 6-4 at fourth singles. Mills won her match at fifth singles 6-1, 6-3. Thompson was the victor against Weaver 6-0, 6-1 at sixth singles.

The WildCats now prepare for the spring season which begins in February.
