LYNCHBURG, Va. - The Randolph College women's swimming team competed against Randolph-Macon at home, showcasing resilience and notable individual efforts despite a tough matchup, falling 41-157. Key performances included:
- Katie Scifres earned second place in the 1650-yard freestyle at 21:58.61, contributing valuable points for the WildCats.
- Katelyn Spuchesi placed third in the 100-yard backstroke, clocking 1:06.50.
- Taylor Eshelman secured third place in the 100-yard freestyle with a solid performance, finishing in 1:00.08.
- Kai Miller took third place in the 50-yard freestyle, swimming a time of 30.25
- Kaitlyn Heckman swam a time of 6:08.86 for a third-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle.
The 'Cats will take a two-and-a-half-week break as the team prepares for the 2025 ODAC Championship from Feb. 12-15 in Greensboro, N.C.Â
