NEWPORT NEWS, Va.- The Randolph men's wrestling team competed at the Builder Invitational hosted by The Apprentice School on Saturday. The WildCats placed seventh out of 15 schools that took part.

Theodore Piluso (Troutville, Va./Lord Botetourt) picked up 16.5 points for the 'Cats to finish in second place in the 165-weight class. He won by decision over Jordan Scott from Liberty then took down David Ales from Apprentice in 3:26. Piluso won by tech fall over Luke LaMagna from RPI and then lost in the first-place match to Keith Brubach from Slippery Rock by a fall in 1:15.

Zak Gurban (Dumfries, Va.) scored 13 points for the WildCats in the 133-weight class. He started his day with a victory by fall over Maximillan Connell from Marymount and then took down Ethan Cobbler from Patrick and Henry Community College in two minutes time.

Adon Overstreet (Lynchburg, Va./Heritage) scored 10 points on the day. He won by decision against Luke Zadrazil from Averett and then a major decision victory over Aden Davis from East Carolina University.

Harriss Sullivan (Clemmons, S.C./North Davidson) scored seven points in the 197-weight class. He received two byes. His lone win was by fall over Caleb Bess from ECU.

Thomas Head (Radford, Va./Pulaski County HS) had four points at the 235-weight class.

Tyler Balint (Harrisonburg, Va./Turner Ashby) secured 3.5 points in the 184-weight class. He won by decision over Bruce Dudley from East Carolina University and the by fall against Braiden Beachel from Slipper Rock. In the consolation round, Balint won by decision over Genowa Lane from Ferrum.

Austin Frazier (Bath, N.C./Northside HS) won by fall over Joseph Alexander from Marymount at the 174-weight class. Noah Williams (Lynchburg, Va./E.C. Glass) won by fall over RPI's Ethan Katz.

The WIldCats travel to Greensboro on Thursday for an ODAC dual match.
