LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph men's tennis team played Virginia Wesleyan in the Quarterfinals of the ODAC Tournament on Tuesday afternoon. The Marlins claimed all three doubles matches and needed just two wins in singles play to take the match 5-0.
First and Second doubles were separated by two points with Virginia Wesleyan winning both 8-6. Third doubles was won 8-4.
In the singles portion, second singles between Andreas Mulner (Brasnov, Romania) and Rafael Rullan was won by Rullan 6-1, 6-0. The deciding match came in fifth singles as Francis Cabaddu defeated Dev Mani (Bangalore, India/St. Claret PU College) 6-0, 6-0,
Randolph finishes its season with a final record of 11-9. The 11 wins are the most in a single season in program history.
