HILTON, HEAD, S.C.- The Randolph women's tennis team played its second and final match of their Hilton Head Spring Break trip on Thursday morning against Clark University. The WildCats had the upper hand on the Cougars as they won 6-3.

The WildCats picked up two wins in doubles play. Lena Kersten (Bonn, Germany/Otto Kuhne Schule) and Sabrina Dickerson (Brookneal, Va.) defeated Crisi Patel and Olivia Shipley 8-1 at first doubles. Maddie Mills (Fredericksburg, Va./Riverbend) and Asia Pham (Annandale, Va./Annandale HS) were 8-4 winners over the pair of Emma Allen and Varvara Maltseva.

The teams played pro sets in the singles portion of the match. Kersten easily handled Russo 8-1 at first singles. Dickerson edged out an 8-6 win over Merielle Kane at second singles. Mills won her third singles match over Patel 8-3. Amanda Jagdeo (South Ozone Park, NY/Flushing HS) won 8-5 over Maltseva at sixth singles.

Randolph returns home to host the University of Olivet on Tuesday. The match begins at 3:30 p.m.
